Mini Museums is an educational & inspiring project that sees EDGE volunteers, aged 14-24, work with younger pupils across Hampshire to deliver 'Mini-Museums' within schools across Hampshire.
Working with various sites, the EDGE volunteers use existing collections & exhibitions to inspire & engage pupils with their local Museums. Museum visits were arranged & young people were given the chance to see how Museums are put together. Using this information, they then plan & organise their own Museum within the school setting.
“The display looks fantastic, its great to see the end result after all the hard work.
I look forward to seeing the finished results”
“A big thank you for letting Kerry exhibit her work at your gallery. She enjoyed the experience and would like to thank you for the Art pack which she received it was just what every budding artist needs.
It was interesting for her to see the other artists work and to talk to them as well”
This project has been supported by Heritage Lottery Fund.
